Well I received a little boost on Friday afternoon by receiving 7 orders for my crayon roll ups. Now I just have to take the time this evening to produce them. 


I'm excited / terrified by how many orders I might receive tomorrow. My products are being shown at a daycare convention. I'm hoping that I'll have too many orders to complete!!

I just had to share this with you.. its one of my new obsessions.


I absolutely love the creativity of this Etsy merchant. I long to create items like this for my two kids and if I had the money (which I clearly don't) I would buy out the entire store!

New items coming!

So my husband disapeared with the camera last Thursday. Clearly he has a lack of understanding that the way to continue my online business is to be able to post my items that I have for sale, which obviously would mean photos are necessary.


I hope to be able to post my new crayon roll ups, burp cloths and passover Matzah holders this evening or early tomorrow morning.


I also have plans for new items to be posted later this week. I'm so excited!!!

The Gift Guide Showcase

Alright followers - today I am featured in the Etsy Gift Guide Showcase. I'm really hoping that this will increase my visability in my store. 


I plan on doing a few features here and there over the next coming weeks. 

Right now I'm looking for ideas for the scraps of fabric from my crayon holders. Here are a couple of my ideas:

pot pouri sachets
pin cushions
mini quilt for a doll 

I'd love to try a little change purse...

Keep on Trucking..

I'm busy purchasing new fabrics in order to expand on my current products. It is so exciting to post new items for sale. 


My brain is ticking feverishly with new ideas and concepts that I will be placing for sale within the next week. I'm thinking of a few seasonal items that will be made to order:

fabric easter baskets

matzah covers
afikomen bags


I come from a multi faith family and celebrate both holidays.. so its exciting to create items that can be enjoyed with both sides of the family.

The Creation of Boutiqe Karma on Etsy

I have finally done it. I've dipped my toes in the icy waters of Etsy.  This is an exciting time, yet I'm filled with anxiety because I have no idea what I'm doing!! I'm sure I'll get the knack of online selling before my costs exceed my revenues.
